Branch Out was founded by Emma Willis & Louise Lawrence.
Louise and Emma are both passionate about the outdoors and use it as their primary teaching tool in all Branch Out programmes. They have over 20 years experience working out in the field and adore it. They love learning and sharing their knowledge and strongly believe in the ability and success of their students.
I am passionate about practical education outdoors and the opportunities for learning that it creates.
I was born into a family with the outdoors and adventure in their blood. I embarked on my first expedition at just six months old and spent my childhood climbing mountains and paddling down rivers. My parents were both educators and passed the passion for this vocation on to me.
I earned a BSc from Liverpool University in Sports Science and Psychology and hold several outdoor instructor and coach qualifications.
My core motivation is a desire to share love of the natural world with others.
I am an outdoor educator, artist, sports coach and explorer. My passion for horses and equestrian sports led me to pursue qualifications in related fields. I hold an BSc in Agricultural science from University College Dublin and am a qualified Sports Coach.
I have a deep connection with the natural word from early childhood and my passions now range from permaculture to personal development and compassionate farming to wellness. I have developed a creative, practical and hands-on teaching style as a result.
