Branch Out provides hands-on geography field trips, outdoor well-being programs, and experiential learning opportunities for secondary school students across Ireland. Our programs help students connect with nature, develop teamwork skills, and learn through the outdoors.
Our outdoor learning is aligned with the Irish curriculum, making learning engaging and impactful.
We are based in coastal and river locations across Wicklow and Dublin.
Our unique mobile unit also allows us to deliver engaging experiences directly to schools across Ireland—reducing the need for costly bus transport while making outdoor learning more accessible.

For Teachers
Branch Out offers two courses for teachers: one to help you confidently plan safe, engaging field trips, and another to introduce Leave No Trace principles for promoting responsible outdoor learning.
1. Run your own Field Studies. Are you a teacher eager to take your students outdoors but unsure where to start? Join Branch Out for a beginner-friendly online workshop designed to give you the confidence and knowledge to plan safe and engaging field trips!
2. Leave No Trace Awareness Course. Do you want to promote responsible outdoor learning in your school? Join Branch Out for an introductory workshop on Leave No Trace principles, designed specifically for teachers looking to integrate sustainable outdoor ethics into their field trips and school policies.
